A Quarterly Dinner And A Fun Project

Hello all! This week members of our guild enjoyed the second quarterly dinner of the year. Everyone planning to attend signed up to bring a dish or dessert to share.

Enjoying a delightful meal.

After our meal members enjoyed a show and tell.

Sue shared how she created square hot pads out of the star pattern we had previously constructed.

A quilt for Sue's son.

Another finished Underground Railroad Quilt

Elaine made pillowcases from giraffe fabric.

A soft book for a young child.

Cool Projects

Ha! Can you believe it? I got this post out this morning...our meeting was last night! We only had 13 members at our meeting last night, probably because of last week's holiday or perhaps because it snowed for the first time this season. And so we didn't have as many projects to share this week.

Carolyn's quarterly block

An apron Carolyn made for her mom.

Two purses. Could Carolyn be competing with our guild president Sue 'the purse queen'? LOL

Made for Carolyn's church, modified from the original pattern.

Front of a lovely quilt by Sharon.

The back of the above quilt.

Another quilt by Sharon modified from the original kit. (I apologize for the blurry picture.)

Sharon's table runner

Shirley made a tablecloth from our quild project instead of a runner.

A quilt made by Sandy for her nephew out of his military fatigues.

I've Run Out Of Post Titles So Your Guess Is As Good As Mine

I admit that I'm late in posting our last guild meeting. I suppose I should publish photos from the last guild meeting before the next one which, of course, is tomorrow night. So here goes.

The first photo is of another finished Underground Railroad quilt. Every one that is finished has be so unique.

More submitted quarterly blocks.

Our Never Ending Quilting Projects

Our guild members are continuing to enjoy producing such wonderful projects. Take a look at our latest endeavors.

First another finished Underground Railroad Quilt by our member Karen.

Then we have finished quarterly blocks. Each of the members participating have been given different star blocks to complete. Each has a common fabric and we were instructed to add certain colors from our stashes to our blocks. The combination of all the different blocks will be very interesting.
